What we believe
Photographic archives matter. They hold community memory, civic identity and cultural heritage. Too much of that material sits offline where it is inaccessible, undiscoverable and at risk. We think that’s worth fixing.
Every image has a story. A photograph of a tree is just that, until you know it’s the oak where Charles II hid after the Battle of Worcester. We built Corals to close the gap between what organisations know about their collections and what the public can discover to shine a light on the images as well as the stories behind them.
We are not trying to be the biggest platform or the most feature rich. We are trying to be the right tool for the organisations that need us most.
